Design
Our staff includes an in-house design team capable of providing our customers with design services for multiple deliveries based on their SKU plans, pricing architecture and trend direction.
Our designers travel internationally on a regular basis to keep abreast of market trends and to find inspiration for our clients. We also utilize trend services including WGSN and Stylesight.
Sourcing
We believe that a key component in developing successful product is in sourcing the right materials and partnering with the right factories, located in China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Burma.
Our focus is on providing high quality, good value materials and we are on the cutting edge of material development, having a wealth of resources at our fingertips.
With almost 15 years in the market, IDS has a portfolio of qualified suppliers whom we have helped become socially compliant and with whom we constantly share best practices so that we remain competitive in the ever-changing world market.

Product Development
Our staff includes an in-house product development team.
This team is a great resource for our clients who have their own in-house designers and also benefit from the partnership of our IDS product development team as well as our design team.
Our product development team is not only skilled in material sourcing and selection, but are also trained in assessing proper factory placement to ensure that the product is being manufactured in the correct hand and at the correct price point for our customers.
Product Management
Our team of experienced merchandisers work closely with our product development and QA teams as well as our suppliers to ensure that production is on time and in- or above-expected quality levels.
Our merchandising team also ensures that all testing meets global legal requirements is completed on-time and to a satisfactory level.
QA
(Quality Assurance)
IDS has QA and compliance teams across China who hold pre-production meeting, perform material checks, in-line and final inspections to globally accepted AQL levels.
This team also works with our factories to spread best practices and to help them continue to upgrade to ensure ongoing pass grade for independent compliance authorization.
Logistics
IDS is set up to sell landed duty paid to the USA, Europe and the UK.
We are also capable of selling on an FOB basis if required or a combination of LDP and FOB depending on where the product is being shipped and the customers' requirements.
Our ability to clear customs and deliver to our client’s warehouses saves our customers manpower and we offer this at very competitive rates.
Terms
IDS operates on an all net term basis which saves LC costs for our customers as well as time for their accounting departments.
